Laura is a classically-trained actor who has studied the methods of Sandy Meisner, Uta Hagen and Lee Strasberg.  Notable roles include Beth in A Lie of the Mind, Nena in The Conduct of Life and Rachel in Ludlow Fair, though pizza lovers in Portland, Oregon best know her as “Super Mom”, on a mission to save families from MSG and preservatives. Laura refined her own culinary skills at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago. She also studied hula, yoga and ukulele in Hilo, Hawaii and earned her bachelor’s degree in Acting and Technical Design for Theater in the great cornfields of Normal, Illinois.  She is celebrating her second wedding anniversary with her huband Jake and also just got back from a road trip up to Maine!
